MOUNT ANGEL — Catherine Lelack, 84, died Friday.
She was born in Woodburn and lived in Salem and Brooks before moving to a farm at Lake Labish.
She was a stenographer for the Oregon State Civil Service Division.
She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart Altar Society.
She enjoyed painting, photography, baking and the outdoors. She was a member of the Ladies of the Lake in Labish.
Survivors include her husband, Peter; sons, Jim of Woodburn, Dave of Salem and Pat of Texas; daughter, Joanne Coon of Silverton; brothers, Ray and Richard McCormick, both of Woodburn, Pat McCormick of Canby; sister, Eloraine Johnston of Woodburn; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Vigil will be 7 p.m. tonight at Cornwell Colonial Chapel, Woodburn. Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Woodburn. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Gervais. Contributions: St. Luke School fund in Woodburn. Salem, Marion County, Oregon.
