  R.J. Landreth passed away Saturday evening at Pleasant Manor Healthcare and Rehab. Center. He was born to Roy R. and Minnie Mae (Prince) Landreth in Hill County, Texas. He served in the Army in WWII, was a farmer for 23 years and also worked for the City of Waxahachie. He married Allene Grantham of Cleburne in 1941. He is survived by: wife, Allene Landreth ; one son, Randal Landreth and his wife Mary of Bryan; two daughters, Patricia LaCoume and husband Wayne of Denton, Brenda Cobb of Waxahachie; four grandchildren, Randi Hegwer and wife Roxanne, Jarred Adams, Terry Wayne Lease and Anne Farr; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Lease, Jonathan and Haden Hegwer. He was preceded in death by a son Ronald Perry Landreth. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home 6-8 PM Tuesday. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Wednesday in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Leslie Grounds officiating. Interment will follow at Itasca Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jarred Adams, Don Grantham, Mike Byrd, Matt Hegwer, John Fee, Bob Wilson and Terry Lease.
