Seven brothers and sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of St. Paul Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Eagles Lodge and Masonic Lodge. He was an employee of Commonwealth-Edison Company 26 years and was assistant engineer at the onset of his illness three years ago.
