Leroy was born in Amarillo, Texas on February 21, 1933. After retiring from Dentistry, he relocated to the area in 1989. In May of 1989, Leroy married Donna White. He enjoyed woodworking and traveling. Leroy traveled throughout most of the US over ten years, including time as a campground host in Alaska. Leroy liked doing historical research of the church and was a member of the Walla Walla University Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is survived by his wife, Donna (White); daughters, Deborah Pavitt, Karen Brito, and Kimberley Sultan; and sons Douglas Lowrie, James Bingman, Donald Bingman, and William Bingman; two granddaughters, Michelle and Kristy.
