She was a 50-year member of Electa Chapter 7 Order of Eastern Star, Rose Croix of the White Shrine, Sapphire Temple 79 Daughters of the Nile and the GAR. Survivors include four sons, Byers Thompson, Rockledge, Fla; Percy Thompson Jr., of Helena and Missoula; Neal Thompson, Turah; and Don Thompson, Helena; a daughter, Bette Saulter, Missoula; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Livingston-Malletta & Geraghty Funeral Home. Don Campbell and Electa Chapter 7 OES will officiate. Cremation has taken place at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. Her family eventually moved to Dixon, Montana, where she graduated from high school. Life’s Work | Service | Interests: In 1947, she married Joseph Frederick "Jody" Ducharme in St. Ignatius, Montana; they had four children. She was divorced and then married Byers McKay Thompson in 1952; they had three children, and later divorced. On March 26, 1976, Shirley married Victor Langlaie Boucher in Hawthorne, California. Victor passed away October 2, 2010 in Missoula, Montana. Shirley worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses in Missoula. She enjoyed music and produced/directed several plays and musicals in and around the Florence community. Her love of writing led her to author the weekly column “Snapshots from Life” for the Big Horn County News in Hardin. She also wrote and published three books dealing with stories and genealogy of her family. Shirley Ann Spang Boucher passed from this life at The Village Senior Residence in Missoula, Montana, on September 27, 2019. She was 91.
  Survived By: Five daughters: Penny Erickson (Don), Candy Palmer, Sandy Drake (Dean), Patricia McCormick (Mike), and Kelly Gieser (Gordon); two sons: Keith Ducharme (Jennifer) and Mike Thompson; her brother, Dennis Spang; and her sister, Doris Spang. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
