He had been employed as a lumberman for the Kelsey Lumber Company for 13 years. He died July 7 in a Sacramento hospital. He was a veteran of World War I. He was the father of Angus Bruce Pomeroy of Central Point, OR, Charles Hugh Pomeroy of Garden Valley and Mrs. Dorothy Ann Tharp of San Mateo. He was the brother of John Pomeroy of Placerville, Mrs. Mary Murphy and Mrs. Irene Haye, both of Pine Grove, he also leaves 10 grandchildren. The services were under the direction of Memory Chapel.

A bartender by trade Mr Bray had worked in the Tunnel Club on Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento and for Post 67. The Placerville native was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr Bray is survived by his son Jack of Sacramento daughters Beverly Neves and Carla Nicodemus of Sacramento brother Roy E. of Sacramento, sister Lura Pfister of Sacramento, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
