Mrs. Copeland was a homemaker and worked for Pacific Northwest Bell Co. for 15 years. She was a member of Rose City Park Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her daughters, Betty J. Farrell of Aurora and Margaret A. Jarvis of Seattle; brother, John Turner of Portland; stepsisters, Vonna Johnson of Portland and Alice Wesley of Goldendale, Wash; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. The family suggests remembrances to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Oregon or a favorite charity.
