  He married Beverly Rae WALLACE on Aug. 8, 1948, in Paso Robles. They moved to Vale, Ore., in 1988, where they owned and operated the Prospector R. V. Park until their retirement in 1995.
  He loved to fish in Alaska. He was a hunter and was a strong supporter of the National Rifle Association, He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children.
  He is survived by his wife Beverly Rae BURDEN of Vale, Ore; four daughters and sons-in-law,
  Charlene and Ralph WINKLER of San Andreas, Margie and Rick MEEKS of Santa Margarita, Ellen and Doug MONN of Paso Robles and Judy and Randy BEST of Atascadero; grandchildren Charlie and wife D. J. MOON, Shelly Christy and Teresa MEEKS, Jeremy and Casey MONN and Jody, Dustin, Kayla, Lacy and Summer BEST; a sister, Bernice BRANCH of Horse Shoe Bend, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
