  • EMAIL*: His email contact is Denise, how good to hear from you. I've dropped out of the genealogy scene for a few months. I am the great granddaughter of Joseph Kent, who was one of the many sons of Robert Kent, brother of Lewis Dozier Kent. I've read many of your postings over the years. My father, Robert Carlyle Kent, is the grandson of Joseph Kent and is now 84 years old. He has many "Grandfather stories" as he was raised by him. Daddy lives in Elma, Washington where Joseph Kent settled. His mind is still very alert, walks a mile a day. He has a sister still living in Olympia who is 86. If you'd like to interview him, I'm sure something could be arranged.

I live in Orangevale, Ca., by Sacramento. I would think most of the information on the Kent's, you already have, but would love to talk sometime. I'm 60 and am going through a bout of cancer, which I'm believing for total healing from. I've also decided to retire and soon will have more time on my hands to do things like generalogy. I'm grateful for those that have done all this research. I was always curious about my Dad's stories about the family. Some of it was fiction, but some of it has been verified by things I've found on the internet.
