Atterbury of Medford, Ore; three daughters: Armanda Labla of Canyonville, Ore., Maydine Brannigar of Woodburn, Ore., and Mary Emeline Atteberry of Newberg, Ore; three step-children: Beryl Gillam of Roseburg, Ore; Lloyd Atterbury of Roseburg, Ore; and Ella Gurney of Corvallis, Ore; two brothers: Clarence Cole of Winchester, Ore., and Walter Cole of Canyonville, Ore; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

    BRANIGAR, Maydien V. - Died June 16, 2002, at Gresham, Oregon, age 90 years. Burial was in Cedar Hills Cemetery at Oakland, Oregon. She was born April 23, 1912, at Roseburg, Oregon, daughter of Isaac Owen Atterbury and Elizabeth (Cole) (Foster) Atterbury. She was from an old pioneer family, her grandparents having traveled to Oregon by wagon train in 1852. She was raised on a farm west of Roseburg and attended Melrose School. In 1929 she began working for Birdseye and North Marion Fruit Company in Woodburn, Oregon. In October 1931 she married Willard P. Branigar of Woodburn, who preceded her in death on January 13, 1980. She moved to a nursing home in Portland in 1995 and then to Gresham in 2000. She is survived by a step-son Harley Branigar of Tualatin, Oregon; two grandsons, Thomas Branigar of Abilene, Kansas, and Jonathan Branigar of Klamath Falls, Oregon; a niece, Luella Benton of Lake Havasu, Arizona; and several cousins, including June Stiltner of Roseburg and Doris Miller of Florence, Oregon on Wednesday, 26 June 2002 Roseburg, Douglas County, Oregon.
