Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Letha, at home; a son, Mark Kent of Castle Rock; a daughter, Elva Kemp of Longview; two grandsons; and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a son, David Kent, in 1996. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Gebert Chapel of the Longview Community Church with the Rev. Harlan Gilliland officiating. Private interment will take place at Longview Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Columbia Funeral Service.
